Motorola skipping Android 5.0.2, going directly to Android 5.1 for first-gen Moto devices

David Schuster, Motorola's Software product manager, announced on his Google+ page today that Motorola has decided to go directly to Android 5.1 for its first-gen Moto devices, skipping Android 5.0.2. Schuster said that Motorola has been simultaneously testing both builds of Android on the first-gen Motorola Moto X, Motorola Moto E and Motorola Moto G LTE.
