Lightweight Windows Phone 8.1 handset announced by Xolo; phone due out next month

If your hands get tired from holding on to your heavy smartphone, you might be interested in a new model introduced on Saturday by Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava. The Xolo WIN Q900s, a smartphone that is powered by Windows Phone 8.1, weighs just 100g. In comparison, the Apple iPhone 5s weighs in at 112g, the Samsung Galaxy S5 tips the scales at 145g, and the HTC One (M8) is 160g.



The Xolo WIN Q900s comes with a 4.7 inch screen offering up a resolution of 720 x 1280. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU powers the phone, which features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage. Need more ...
