Humor: How apps are really draining the battery in your smartphone, and what you can do about it

Even if we don’t get around to investigating it regularly, very often, we will look at the battery performance on our smartphone and wonder how it can be improved. When batteries die quickly however, it is usually the fault of an app that is installed on the phone, running in the background.



Yes, battery problems have been known to exist, but it is actually a software issue. We heard about battery concerns on the Nexus 5 that turned out to be not the battery, but apps on the phone.
