Acer intros new Iconia Tab 8 Android tablet, quad-core Intel Atom processor on board

Not long after introducing the Iconia Tab 7, Acer today announced another Android tablet: the Iconia Tab 8 - which, of course, sports an 8-inch display. Unlike the Iconia Tab 7, the new Acer Iconia Tab 8 offers features that almost (though not really) make it a high-end device.



The 8-inch IPS display of the Iconia Tab has a 1,200 x 1,920 pixel resolution and anti-fingerprint coating, so it should provide a pretty good user experience.
