
Tamagotchi was a 90s craze of little electronic toys that had a small plastic body, housing an even smaller display. On their monochromic screen, they would give you a representation of an animal, which you need to “care” for from its infancy, to its adulthood. Feed it, play with it, and clean up after it was the mantra of the Tamagotchi owner – all actions that were performed by simply pressing a few buttons on the device.
