
Not too long after Microsoft released the Surface 3 Pro, sales of the tablet were said to be low and rumors started spreading about Microsoft putting an end to the Surface line. The company had just pulled the plug on the Surface mini and Microsoft was reportedly backing away from designing the next-gen Surface model.
That was six months ago. Now, the Surface Pro 3 is a success and was named one of Time's top 25 inventions for 2014. With the turnaround, Microsoft decided to green-light the next iteration of the Surface, which was introduced last week. Pre-orders started on March 31st.
