LG says Snapdragon 810 heat issues have been dealt with, LG G Flex 2 and LG G4 stay on track

Not long ago, news of an overheating Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor started making rounds in technological media. LG, which announced the SD 810-powered LG G Flex 2 smartphone at CES 2015, quickly stepped in to pacify the crowds. Not only it said that the 64-bit octa-core monstrosity doesn't heat up, but the LG G Flex 2 was even commended for emitting less heat than competing smartphones! Which puts today's news in an interesting light.
