A month after the M8 snapshot, the CyanogenMod team has now fired off the M9. What this means is that if you are looking for a stable upgrade, now's the time to get flashin'. Snapshots (M-builds) are CM's monthly-released builds that have usually undergone some testing and are deemed mostly bug-free. Unfortunately, for those of you waiting for more stable builds, a snapshot is as stable as you are going to get, as the CyanogenMod team has announced a while ago that they will no longer compile the fully-tested "stable" versions.
