iOS camera app gets new Time-Lapse video option in iOS 8

Apple’s iOS 8 is packed with new features, but one particularly awesome went a bit under the radar during the WWDC announcement. It’s a new mode for the camera that we’re certain many of you will love: time-lapse.



Apple’s camera already has an awesome slow motion camera feature, but what time-lapse does is kind of the opposite - it allows your phone to capture images over a long period of time, and then stitch it all up into a video that speeds up otherwise slowly happening events. Think about seeing the movement of clouds, the bustling of a busy street, or even the blooming of a flower.
