It seems that Google is about to unveil its own in-car operating system at this year's I/O developers' conference next week. Codenamed Google Auto Link, this in-car OS is being developed by the Open Automotive Alliance, which consists of Google, Audi AG, General Motors Co., Honda Motor Co., Hyundai Motor Group and NVIDIA Corp. It is known as Google Auto Link among its developers. Of course, this operating system is going to stand against Apple's CarPlay service and open up a new front in the never-ending war between the two giants.
