Samsung says it didn't pay fans to attend its Galaxy S6 launch event in China



According to a recent report coming out of China, Samsung allegedly paid hundreds of people to attend its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge launch event in Shanghai, China, which took place on Friday, April 3. Reportedly, up to 500 young people (under 30 years of age) were asked to show up and pretend to be Samsung fans during said event. However, Samsung is officially dismissing this report, saying that the whole story is "totally groundless and bogus."



Samsung has it that all the attendees (over 1,100, according to the company), including consumers and industry officials, were "formally invited" ...
