New Xiaomi fingerprint scanning technology could be used on Xiaomi Mi 5

Xiaomi has filed a patent application with the State Intellectual Property Office in China. The patent applied for deals with a method to integrate fingerprint scanning into the touch buttons on a handset. The technology could be used on the home button of a handset, possibly the next Xiaomi flagship model which could be the Mi 5.
