Facebook starts to integrate with its WhatsApp messaging app

Last year, Facebook purchased messaging app WhatsApp for nearly $22 billion. Now, the two are working together on integrating their services. A new version of Facebook (v. 31.0.0.7.13) allows users to send and share news to WhatsApp subscribers via a "send" button on the bottom of a Facebook page. The button hasn't appeared in the latest public version of the app making it likely that it is available only to Facebook beta testers.
