Apple employees get discount on Apple Watch; 1000 apps for the watch submitted in first four days

An emailed letter from Apple CEO Tim Cook sent on Monday to Apple employees, revealed that they will be allowed to purchase an Apple Watch Sport or Apple Watch at a 50% discount. Employees will be able to get a $500 discount off the gold Apple Watch Edition model. The discounts will be available from the April 10th start of pre-orders and will last for 90 days after availability.
