
Among the new features to make it into Android L Version are the so-called "Heads-up" notifications. Similar to iOS, they conveniently show up directly on your screen, instead of piling up in the notification drawer. They can be instantly dismissed with a single swipe, and some of them let you interact with apps without opening them. It's an elegant way of managing notifications for apps and events you consider important, and we consider it a welcome addition to Android.
While the official L Version release is months ahead, you don't have to wait 'till Fall to get this particular goodie, ...
