Jason Mackenzie: HTC has new Windows Phones in the pipeline, and a broader range of Androids for the US

HTC today unveiled two new mid-range Android handsets, the Desire 816 and Desire 610. Not long after their announcement, HTC America President Jason Mackenzie talked a bit about the company’s future plans regarding the US market.



According to Re/code, Mackenzie said that, apart from releasing the Desire 816 in the US later this year (most likely in April), HTC will try to “go after new segments” that the company has not “addressed in the U.S. in a long time.”
