Verizon starts updating the Samsung Galaxy S4 to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

Earlier this month, AT&T started rolling out the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S4, and now it looks like Verizon is getting ready to update its version of the handset to the same Android version. The new update from Verizon will update the software to build number LRX22C.I545VRUGOC1. With the Samsung Galaxy S4 launched more than a couple of years ago, it's nice to see that the two largest US carriers are updating the handset to the latest major version of Android.

The update will be gradually rolled out to Verizon customers rocking the Samsung ...

LG G4 specs review: altered beast

Introduction
When it launched in May last year, the LG G3 was certainly an impressive fiend. It was the first smartphone to ship with a quad-HD resolution display, in addition to a terrific spec sheet, spearheaded by the innovative laser auto-focus system. Thanks to moving a good six months ahead of the industry, LG made the LG G3 stay relevant to this day, even as lower-priced and better performing devices eventually matched its superiority. Among these is the new LG G4, poised to continue carrying the torch after its predecessor ascends to the Valhalla of smartphones. ...

LG G Stylo and Leon LTE will join the G4 in T-Mobile's line-up

T-Mobile today announced that it's going to be the only US carrier to offer the LG G4 with a brown leather back, while also allowing those who pre-register to win the brand new handset.

But the G4 isn't the only LG-made smartphone that T-Mobile will start selling this spring. Those who find the G4 too expensive will be able to get the LG G Stylo, or the LG Leon LTE.

Introduced earlier this month in South Korea, the LG G Stylo is a mid-range Android Lollipop smartphone with a stylus and a 5.7-inch 720p display. Other features include LTE, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 8 MP rear camera, ...

Cyanogen divorces OnePlus

The partnership between custom Android OS producer Cyanogen and phone manufacturer OnePlus has come to an end. The decision to end the partnership means that Cyanogen will look for new Android phone producers to employ its custom OS. Just a bit more than two weeks ago, the Android 5.0 themed Cyanogen 12 was distributed to owners of the OnePlus One handset.

OnePlus brass was more than just a little miffed last year when shortly after the OnePlus One was launched in India, Cyanogen signed an exclusive deal with Indian phone manufacturer Micromax. This led a court in New Delhi to place a temporary ...

10 reasons why the Galaxy S6 is a better phone than the LG G4

We had quite a blast checking out the LG G4 at a private event ahead of its announcement, and loved what the company achieved with it. The phone definitely feels like it's matured enough to be taken way more seriously than ever before, and it's chock-full with extras and features.

But how does it compare to an already established industry-heavyweight like the Samsung Galaxy S6? In many ways, the two seem to be on par for the most part, but this isn't always the case. Indeed, there are features and qualities that, objectively, are points for Samsung's top shelfer. Granted, the ...

Mophie's Juice Pack for the LG G4 brings 80% extra battery life

The recently-unveiled LG G4 comes with a large-ish 3000mAh battery, but the latest LG flagship also comes with a set of power-hungry specs, with the 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels and its hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset deserving a special mention in this context. If you're worried that the LG G4 won't make it through that two-day camping trip, or even through the day with hardcore usage of the smartphone, a third party accessory for the LG G4 tries to ease all of your worries.

The Mophie Juice Pack for the LG G4 comes with an external battery that can ...

LG G4 vs Motorola Droid Turbo: first look

When the Droid Turbo landed last year, it was the best-spec'd flagship out there, with impossible pixel density, gigantic battery, and a 20 MP shooter. Well, it still has those things, that's why we are clashing Moto's best, the Droid Turbo, against LG's flagship that just got announced, the G4.
Design
Believe it or not, but the Droid Turbo is thicker and heavier than the 9.8mm LG G4, but that's for a good reason, namely the 3900 mAh battery pack inside. Being a phone with a 5.2" screen, however, it is easier to handle with one hand, compared to the G4. The LG G4 has onscreen navigation ...

LG G4 official camera samples released: see what its new 16MP camera is capable of

The LG G4 is out and there are two main things about it: it features a stylish leather back available in a variety of colors, and it comes with a brand new 16-megapixel main camera with big aspirations.

The LG G4 camera technical details are all pretty clear: a 16-megapixel sensor of a large, 1/2.6" size with a fast, six-element f/1.8 aperture lens on top. LG has also overhauled its camera app adding a full-on manual mode where you full manual control over your smartphone: you can set shutter speeds, control focus manually, set ISO, white balance, and so on.

There's ...

LG G4: all you need to know about the new superphone in town

LG has announced the G4, and with that, some may say that the flagship landscape for the first half of 2015 is now complete. However, LG is planning to play it smart, and release the G4 in about a month or so - right in the middle of the year. This way, it's going to have a small window of opportunity between the Galaxy S6 launches and the advent of the iPhone 6 successor. It's a really tough place to be in, but it seems like LG has some confidence in its new product. It has gone for an avant-garde styling, involving an off-beat genuine, stitched leather back cover, which is certain to stand ...

6 things that could have made the LG G4 better

Well, the LG G4 is finally here with its classy looks, arched body, and upgraded display and camera. The new flagship definitely sports a few unique features up its sleeve and is even the first to rock a brand new SoC from Qualcomm – the Snapdragon 808.

The LG G4 features a 5.5" screen with a QHD (1440 x 2560) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit hexacore Snapdragon 808, 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and has 32 GB of internal (expandable) storage. It sports an upgraded 16 MP camera on its back with a wide F1.8 aperture and assisted by a superior OIS 2, which balances the ...

Pre-register with T-Mobile for the LG G4 and you could win one of 28 units being given away

With the LG G4 now official, T-Mobile has quickly put up a place on its website for those interested in "pre-registering" for the device. This means that you will be notified once T-Mobile starts taking pre-orders for the flagship phone. But those who pre-register are also entered into a contest and could win a brand-new LG G4.

The carrier is going to have four separate drawings which will result in a total of 28 new LG G4 handsets awarded to contest winners between now and midnight (EDT) on May 25th. The contest, open to U.S. residents and those who live in Puerto Rico, has already started. ...

LG G4: here are all the different color versions

The LG G4 is official and all the leaks and rumors we heard in the past few weeks turned out true: the phone indeed comes in two models, one featuring a plastic back with a kind of a dimpled, diamond-shaped pattern, and another one that sports a genuine leather.

While it's not the first to come with a leather back (hey, Moto X!), LG is said to spend up to 12 weeks drying the leather and getting it ready for use on the G4.

Six colors for the genuine leather model, three - for the plastic oneWhat color options will there ...

Microsoft's Lumia Windows Phones face an import ban in the US

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) ruled yesterday that Microsoft's Windows Phones infringe on a pair of patents owned by InterDigital without the latter's permission. After losing the first round in this court battle, Microsoft could see its Lumia Windows Phone handsets banned from import in the US, although this decision is not final.

According to Judge Theodore Essex, Microsoft's handsets infringe on a couple of wireless cellular patents owned by InterDigital. InterDigital has a long history of court battles against Lumia smartphones. Back in 2007, the Washington-based ...

Snapdragon 808 chosen for the LG G4 before the 810 issues, claims Qualcomm

Samsung might have been wise to go with its own 14nm Exynos for the Galaxy S6 not only for business reasons - using its own superior SoC - but also because of reports that the first batches of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 could not keep their cool the way the TSMC foundry was producing them. The launch of the Galaxy S6 with Samsung's own application processor has reportedly given Qualcomm food for thought about cutting the patent royalties it demands from phone makers, and Samsung in particular, as it doesn't want to nix the relationship it has with the world's largest cell phone maker.

When ...

Motorola reminds us that the Moto X featured genuine leather one year before the LG G4

LG today finally announced its G4 flagship smartphone, making it its first handset to have a genuine leather finish (in multiple color variants). However, as you may know, the G4 is not the first Android smartphone to include leather in its design. Immediately after LG unveiled the G4, Motorola took to Twitter to remind us that its Moto X and Moto 360 can be customized with genuine leather since 2014.

Just like Motorola, which offers leather backs for the Moto X for an extra $25, it looks like LG will also charge more for its leather G4. However, for now we don't know exactly how much ...

LG G4 color spectrum sensor explained: helps you nail perfect white balance for photos

The LG G4 comes with a brand new 16-megapixel camera sensor with a fast, f/1.8 aperture lens on top of that sensor and improved optical stabilization (OIS 2), but arguably the most exciting new camera-related feature of the phone might be its new 'color spectrum sensor'.

What does a 'color spectrum sensor' do, and why is it better than a regular sensor? LG explaind the benefits of the new technology at its official unveiling event for the handset.

The first and most notable improvement that comes with this new sensor is its capability ...

Huawei Honor 4C unveiled in China, priced at $130 USD

The Huawei Honor 4C was unveiled today in China and is priced at the equivalent of $130 USD. Available from Chinese online retailers Tmall and Vmall, the Honor 4C features a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Under the hood is a home grown HiSilicon Kirin 620 SoC. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can access the 32GB capacity microSD slot. The 13MP rear camera has an aperture of f/2.0, which means that it will be able to take quality photos even under low-light conditions. The 5MP front-facing camera takes care of selfies and video ...

The LG G4: Yay or Nay?

A 5.5-inch display with a Quad HD (1440 x 2560) pixel resolution. Six ARM cores with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor at the reins. 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. An impressive, 16-megapixel camera with super-wide,  f/1.8 lens, an LED flash with a color spectrum sensor sidekick, and a laser auto-focus system, along with a generous, 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Android 5.1 Lollipop with UX 4.0, and a 3,000 mAh cell. All of this encased within a body that can, for a price, be adorned by genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.

Those are just a small part of the features ...

LG G4 vs Sony Xperia Z3: first look

Well, folks – it's here – LG's new ceramic- or leather-clad flagship. Toting the same thin bezel that the company has been famous for since the release of the G2, combined with the arched build that's been borrowed from the G Flex and G Flex 2, and, of course, the rather unique materials used in its build – surely enough, the LG G4 is, if nothing else, one of the more unique smartphones that we've seen so far in 2015. So, how does it stack up against the competition? In this issue of First look – let's pit it against the slightly aged, but still classy, Sony Xperia Z3.

7 reasons why the LG G4 is a better smartphone than the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge

The new LG G4 is here, and while it might safely be viewed as a marginal refreshment of last year's G3, it's still boasting improvements in several key areas. Frankly said, the G3 is a fantastic device, so the G4 can potentially be an even better flagship (still, we'll refrain from verdicts until our full review is ready).

Judging from specs alone, however, we can easily speculate that the G4 might be a tad more appealing to a host of users when we compare it with two of the arguably best Android devices of late, Samsung's Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Don't avert your ...

LG G4: all the new features

Some may argue that the LG G4 is not such a big departure from the LG G3, but they will certainly be wrong, as LG's new flagship has a host of new features that make it way more compelling than its predecessor.

For the uninitiated eye, both devices are pretty similar to one another; for tech heads, however, the new South Korean warrior is a much more appealing handset that bears improvements in a host of key areas, making it a worthy successor to the G3.

During the announcement of the flagship, LG naturally made sure to stress ...

LG G4 price and release date

The LG G4 was just announced, a month short of a full year after the G3 took the stage in 2014. Not only that, but general availability will be as soon as the end of May in South Korea, and its global launch campaign is set to include as many as 170 countries.

State-side, the usual suspects by the name of Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile & Sprint (along with U.S. Cellular and Best Buy) will be offering the LG G4 on the ubiquitous "$200 on two year contract" price plan, with the luxury leather back version probably selling for an additional $100.

Meanwhile, ...

LG G4 vs Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9: specs comparison

After numerous official snippets of info, LG finally showed its hand and revealed its brand new flagship, the G4, a phone that will hopefully repeat the success of the LG G3 and help LG solidify its status as one of the leading global smartphone slingers.

Just as you might imagine, LG will have to battle pretty fiercely with its competitors. Of course, we are talking about two of the more prominent rivals on the Android scene - Samsung and HTC. The latter already released their flagships for the rest of the year, the Galaxy S6, the S6 edge, and the HTC One M9.

Well, ...

LG G4 vs LG G3 vs Apple iPhone 6: specs comparison

The newest LG flagship, the G4, will play a pretty important role in LG's portfolio, as it will be the company's answer to the best that Samsung, Apple, and their ilk will unleash on the market.

As such, the Android gladiator will most probably have a pretty hard time on the arena, as some may argue that it's not boasting many new features and specs improvements in comparison with the LG G3.

And what's a better way to compare several devices than check out their neatly-organized specs sheets? That's what we are going to do right now, we're about ...

LG G4 size comparison with the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Note 4, iPhone 6, 6 Plus, HTC One M9, and others

The LG G4 is already here, aiming to take the banner from the G3 and become LG's flagship smartphone for the rest of the year and most likely the first few months of 2016.

The G4 will have a tough time competing on the market, which is already a war theater between the best Apple, Samsung, HTC, Sony, and the others have thrown in on the battlefield.

Design-wise, the G4 is quite similar to the G3. In terms of size, it's just a bit taller and wider, while the thickness has remained mostly the same. This means that similarly to the G3, ...

LG G4: all the official images

LG paid special attention to the materials that are used in its newest flagship, throwing leather and ceramic finish to the mix. As per the press release: "The LG G4 is available in genuine full-grain leather in six beautiful colors. The meticulous tanning process employed is an age-old tradition that requires skilled craftsmen to produce and dye the leather. The colors of the leather on the G4 are rich with warm tones that look authentic and change over time. Other material options for the G4 rear cover include pure Ceramic White with 3D patterns, artisan-forged Metallic Gray as well lustrous, ...

This is the new LG G4's UX 4.0 interface

After months of rumors, and more recently – official teasers – the LG G4 has arrived. You and us both will be spending quite some time discussing the many aspects of the device, but right now we wanted to focus on just one of them: the UI.

There are a few rather major developments taking place here. First off, LG is transitioning to a new version of its custom interface, dubbed UX 4.0. As you can imagine, the new code is based on Android Lollipop – the 5.1 build in particular – and is adhering to Google's Material Design philosophy behind it. And secondly, ...

LG G4 vs Samsung Galaxy S6: First look

Introduction

Being half the size of Samsung hasn't stopped LG from continuously pressuring the current market leader in Android land, and 2015 is shaping up to be no different. The LG G4, still warm from our hands-on time with it, has an unusually tough year ahead of itself, however – its cross-town rival's Galaxy S6 proved a significant step forward from its predecessor.

Is the G4? On paper, it certainly seems so, though the improvements it underwent are a bit more muted in comparison. While sticking to its guns as pertains to design, the G4 has ...

LG G4 vs Apple iPhone 6: first look

LG has finally lifted the cover off its brand new flagship phone: the LG G4. A 5.5-inch phone that retains the design language of the LG G3 with LG's signature rear-positioned buttons, it now adds a focus on style with a new option for the build materials: in addition to the regular plastic version, the LG G4 comes in a model featuring genuine leather back cover.

Naturally, the first device that the LG G4 will fight for attention in the crowded smartphone space is the Apple iPhone 6. The two devices are different in size: the iPhone 6 is a smaller, 4.7" ...

First camera samples from the LG G4

One of the areas in which the LG G4 bears improvement over the LG G3 is the camera department. The new device has a larger OIS-enabled camera with dual LED flash that shoots 16MP images, as well as camera lens with an aperture of f/1.8. The latter is a pretty solid prerequisite for good low-light camera performance, as more light hitting the sensor usually results in much better shots in low-lit environment.

It will be pretty interesting to put the new LG handset against the notable competition, consisting of the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge, the Note 4, the Apple iPhone 6/6 ...

LG G4 vs HTC One M9: first look

In this edition of our First Look series we are clashing HTC's finest, the One M9, against LG's flagship that just got announced, the G4. At first blush, HTC's handset beats the G4 in everything - design, specs, and interface. The One M9 is beautifully crafted into a unibody aluminum chassis, while the plastic back of the G4, while more practical, pales in comparison. Granted, you can remove the cover and swap the battery, plus LG has a more exclusive leather rear version of the G4.

The One M9 is a tad thicker than the G4, which is confirmed by your hand ...

LG G4 hands-on: Take that, Galaxy S6!

Having plenty of time before we come to the mid-point of 2015, there’s no denying that it’s been a whirlwind ride when it comes to the high-end segment of the smartphone market. Even before 2015 arrived, we were treated to outstanding devices like the iPhone 6, Nexus 6, and DROID Turbo, but we’ve seen already several new flagships vying for a piece of the pie. From the HTC One M9, the Samsung Galaxy S6 (and S6 edge), and the Huawei P8, there’s been no shortage of top-notch, quality smartphones that deliver the goods.

Last year, LG impressed us for setting the bar high with its G3 – the ...

LG and Google team up to answer Samsung and Microsoft with 115GB of free cloud storage on the G4

Samsung did something unusual with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge – it partnered with Microsoft in order to bring the latter's suite of Android apps to its devices. Among those was OneDrive – the software giant's cloud storage service. Since Google requires that its partners always include its entire suite of apps, this means that its own cloud service – Drive – has a competitor from the get-go.

That's not where it ended, though. In addition to having OneDrive parade in proximity of Drive, the Samsung/Microsoft deal also rewarded buyers with a ton of free ...

Microsoft Build 2015 kicks off in 24 hours, what are you looking forward to?

The past year has been an interesting one for Microsoft, particularly in the mobile space. On one hand, the company acquired what is one of the largest mobile phone manufacturing operations in the world with continued and reliable sales, and on the other hand, its own mobile platform feels like it is in a holding pattern despite the rigorous working being done on Windows 10.

Then, Microsoft has continued to ensure easy access to its services by making many of its core software products accessible from any platform, traditional or mobile. One the commercial front, Microsoft Azure remains ...

The Facebook Messenger app was updated for iOS and Android users on Monday, and now supports free video calling in 18 countries including the U.S. With this new feature, Facebook Messenger becomes a competitor in the video calling market which includes popular apps like Skype. While in the middle of a conversation using Facebook Messenger, clicking on the video icon in the top right corner of the screen opens the video calling app. This will work even if the video chat is between an iOS user and an Android user.

Right now, the countries supporting the service include the U.S., Belgium, Canada, ...

Nokia is ready to sell its N1 Android tablet outside of China (starting in Taiwan)

Nokia released its N1 Android slate in January, but only in China, where the device is wildly successful. Now, Nokia is finally ready to launch the tablet in other markets. The company today introduced the N1 in Taiwan, during an event full of music and dance performances (you can watch that below).

Taiwanese customers will be able to buy the Nokia N1 starting May, for around $268 (8,190 TWD in local currency). It's not clear exactly when the N1 will be available in other regions, but it should happen in the near future. However, Nokia may not plan to launch the tablet all over the world ...

Remember the Tamagotchi? Well, it's back for the Apple Watch

Tamagotchi was a 90s craze of little electronic toys that had a small plastic body, housing an even smaller display. On their monochromic screen, they would give you a representation of an animal, which you need to “care” for from its infancy, to its adulthood. Feed it, play with it, and clean up after it was the mantra of the Tamagotchi owner – all actions that were performed by simply pressing a few buttons on the device. Simple enough, sure, but the little animal sure liked to demand attention often, leading to it beeping in one's pocked once every few minutes. Naturally, the craze ended just ...

The Sony Xperia Z4 could be rebranded as the Xperia Z3+ outside Japan

While rumors suggest that the Sony Xperia Z4 is intended to be exclusive to Sony's home market of Japan, a recent leak reveals that the smartphone could be re-branded as the Sony Xperia Z3+ for international markets. The news comes as the official white paper for an official Sony Xperia Z4 accessory called the "Sony SCR30 Style Cover Window case for the Xperia Z4" lists two devices as being compatible with it. The first is the Xperia Z4, and the second is a currently-unannounced smartphone called the Sony Xperia Z3+.

This could mean that the Xperia Z4 as we know it ...

Apple marching east - China becomes the company's second largest market

Apple CEO Tim Cook has more than once referred to China as one of the company's key markets. He spent years in talks with China Mobile, trying to solidify a deal that would have the operator support and sell iPhones. Apple had a small presence in China before, through carriers China Unicom and China Telecom, but seeing as China Mobile is considered the largest mobile provider in the world, one could easily guess why Apple was so interested in being in business with it.

So, it looks like all the strides have paid off – from the record sales of iPhone 5s and 5c early last year, to ...

LG G4 unboxing pictures leak out hours before announcement

A series of photos depicting the LG G4 in its retail box have popped up hours before announcement, showing both the plastic back and leather back models. This seems to be the Korean version of the handset, judging from the two batteries in the box, and the LTE Advanced logo on the back, but you can still get a pretty glimpse how the phone will look like when it gets revealed later today, and what will go in the box.

Besides the phone, the LG Quad Beat headphones can be seen as well, and hopefully these will be included with each and every version of the handset, ...

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge users can get free content (Galaxy Gifts) worth over $500

Samsung today announced that current (and future) owners of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are eligible to get free mobile content as part of the company's Galaxy Gifts package. It looks like you first need to download the dedicated Galaxy Gifts application from Galaxy Apps in order to have access to the free content.

Just like in the past, when Samsung offered free content for other flagships (like the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge), the content included in Galaxy Gifts for the S6 and S6 edge is comprised of apps, game freebies, and various subscriptions. Here's the complete list of ...

Galaxy S6 exhibiting overzealous RAM management, report users

The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge come with the latest cutthroat DDR4 RAM technology, and 3 GB of the good stuff at that, but when it comes to the actual RAM management, Samsung might have dropped the ball, judging from several forum threads and user reports.

In a nutshell, Galaxy S6 owners are reporting a very aggressive RAM management, to the point where apps get constantly shut down, and there's 200-400 MB of RAM left only at any given time. Granted, Android's RAM usage is made this way, and the system feels best when most of the available RAM is utilized, that is why task killers ...

Xiaomi Mi5 tipped to come with a 5.2" Quad HD display

The Mi5, the next flagship of China's growing superstar phone maker Xiaomi, is expected to get officially unveiled some time in the summer, but alleged real-life images and performance benchmarks of the handset have already leaked out. What's left to know, basically, are the actual specs, but now that space has been eventually filled, too, courtesy of the Chinese tech blogosphere.

The Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to sport a 5.2" display, the whopping 4 GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 810 chipset. The rest of the rumored specs sound like a dream come true for any Xiaomi fan, too - a 16 ...

Alleged Meizu MX5 pictures leak, fingerprint sensor may be in tow

Meizu's current flagship duo – the MX4 and MX4 Pro – are doing quite well, selling in heaps and bundles in their homeland, while gaining worldwide popularity. Unique for their 5:3 display aspect ratio and super-thin bezels (~75% screen-to-body), which make the handsets comfy to hold, despite the fact that they still have 5.4” and 5.5” displays equipped at the front.

Now, seeing as both the aforementioned handsets were released around the end of 2014, we don't expect Meizu to launch any successors to their flagship line well until September, yet Chinese tech site cnBeta has managed to get ...

LG G4 rumor round-up: leaked images, performance, price and release date

We already have an official announcement date: it's April 28th, and in anticipation of the big unveiling, it's time to start rounding things up ahead of the big launch.

LG G4 rumors so far agree that it will bring improvements a few key areas: build materials as all teasers suggest LG will offer a genuine leather version of the G4 in addition to the more traditional plastic model; the camera, as the new G4 is expected to ...

Coolify is a gorgeous app that handles a very specific duty - keeping your device temperature normal - with minimum user input. Yes, it's another one of those one-click optimization apps, the ones that knowledgeable users usually approach with a sceptic "does it even work" mentality. But, surprisingly enough, it does what it says on the tin! Not only it looks cool, it keeps cool.

Coolify approaches its task with a battery and CPU-friendly algorithm that sees about 80 system values optimized in real-time. It is built upon a compilation of essential scripted tweaks for more ...

Livestream: Watch the LG G4 unveiling event here

Months have come and gone, and here we are, still thinking and talking about the LG G4. Seeing as the South Korea-based company is less than half a day away from getting on stage to announce its new flagship, we suspect that we'll be kicking things into an even higher gear quite soon.

The LG G4, like the LG G3 and G2 before it, is shaping up to be among the best that this year will see. We've got a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset (apparently), 3GB of RAM, and an impressive-sounding, 16-megapixel ...
